Community Considerations

In general, in the past, off-campus communities have resulted in more successful projects. This has not always been true, but this pattern is apparent to me. On-campus communities, especially dorm halls or fraternities, are often too close for comfort when we need to make judgments. I'm not ruling them out--I realize, for instance, that not all of you have access to every off-campus community--but I want you to be informed about what has and hasn't worked best in the past.
