Google Reader Instructions

for use in class today
  1. go to google.com/reader
  2. sign in using the google account you created for your blog
  3. go to file, create new tab
  4. on a new tab (leave this one up), pull up the course blog (hokiehonorsenglish.com)
  5. right-click on the first person’s name in your class and click “copy link location”
  6. go back to your google reader. click “add subscription” (left middle)
  7. click CTRL-V or Edit>Paste. Click “add.”
  8. repeat steps 4-6 until the entire class is in your blog
  9. Subscribe to "http://hokiehonorsenglish.blogspot.com" as well.
You should have 21 subscriptions, not including yours. If you have extra time, see if anyone else needs help. Then start reading and commenting on others' blogs.

Advanced Options: If you choose a subscription, you can click on “feed settings” (upper right) to rename the subscription or create folders to keep them in.
